Her accomplishments include being a field worker for the Tennessee Association of Craft Artists (TACA), working for a custom-color photographic lab, directing and teaching a crafts workshop program for adults and children at the Sevier County Cultural Arts Center, teaching at the Arrowmont School for Crafts upon occasion and serving as coordinator and weaving teacher for the Heritage Weavers School Association.

In the past she focused primarily on kitchen items and decorator objects, but, as a result of doing these large tile projects, Liza became interested in doing architectural tile work. Now tiled fireplaces, kitchen backsplashes and bathrooms have become new options for her custom designs.
